General Introduction
Gandhi Centenary Memorial Convent School, Nowgong is run by Satna Diocesan Society, a Catholic Minority Community, in collaboration with Rev. Sisters of the Congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth. GCM Convent School
serves the people in and around Nowgong in the field of standard and value based education for the past forty two years. Our strength is the love and concern of the beneficiaries and their parents. The credit of making

Aim
The aim of the institution is to impart a sound education to children by the harmonious development of their physical, moral and intellectual level. They are helped for unfolding and developing their unseen
potentialities through observing, hearing, doing and playing. The School aims at the excellence in education with technical studies such as Computer, Smart learning Classes combined with curricular and co-curricular
activities.
Scheme of Studies (Primary & Secondary Level)
The following subjects are taught in the school with the help smart Learning Classes:

- General Knowledge, Sanskrit, Life Values

- Physical Education and Games
- Science & Commerce Streams are available for the Senior Secondary Level

Contributions
The details of the fee will be given in the fee card. Parent/ guardians are requested to pay in due time all the contributions to the school without fail. The fee is collected in four installments. It covers tuition,
sports and games, co curricular activities, assessments and school development. All installments are to be paid in advance as per the fee card. Students who are in arrears for one month and have not been duly excused by
the Principal will be struck off the rolls. The progress report and other documents will not be issued until dues to the school have been paid. Fees must be paid only at the Fee counter between 8.30am to 12.00 am. The
contribution card should be handed over with money. Late fee Rs. 20 will be added to the total of every month.
General Suggestions
Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be marked with their names. It is not advisable for the pupils to bring money or other valuable things to the school.
Enrolment to GCM Convent School implies on the part of the pupils and Parent/ Guardians' willingness to comply with the rules and regulations of the institution.
Parent Teacher Co - operation
The success of the school depends on the co-operation of parents and teachers. The parent/guardians are requested to keep close contact with the school authorities to maintain a high standard of discipline and learning.
They are to insist upon the regular attendance, punctuality, diligence at the home tasks, neatness and cleanliness of the books and personal appearance of their wards. They should also see the time table of the
examinations and prepare their wards. Parents/Guardians are requested not to disturb the teachers of the pupils from their duty by their visits during the class hours. All dealings shall be conducted through the office
of the school. The parents can contact the teachers on the last working day of every month to know the performance of their children. The valuable suggestions of the parents/guardians are earnestly expected.
